HK Express connects Hong Kong with Thailand's most northerly province

Thailand's northernmost province, Chiang Rai, will welcome another international flight later this year.

Low-cost carrier HK Express has announced plans to launch the first direct Chiang Raiconnection between Chiang Rai and Hong Kong, which will commence on November 25, 2016. Initially the service will run twice a week, with departures every Monday and Friday.

"Hong Kong travelers love to explore off-the-beaten-track destinations, and we're thrilled to be able to provide the only non-stop flight to Chiang Rai," said Andrew Cowen, director & CEO of HK Express.

"The second half of the year will be filled with announcements to a mix of new destinations for every type of traveler, whether you're after a beach break or a city retreat."
