Lions escape from China zoo

Two lions escaped from their enclosure at a zoo in China yesterday morning. According to local media reports, the two lions escaped when the door of their cage was opened at Chongqing Zoo. The zoo was closed off as emergency teams arrived, and the two lions were shot with tranquiliser darts before being returned to their enclosure. No-one was injured in the incident and it is unclear exactly how the lions were allowed to escape.
