A former broadcasting center belonging to the BBC is to be reopened as a luxury hotel at the end of the month. The property, located in the English county of Worcestershire, has undergone a GBP4 million (US$6.4m) restoration and will open as The Wood Norton Hotel on 29 November. The BBC used the site as an emergency broadcasting center away from London during World War 2. The new hotel will feature 50 rooms and a restaurant.
