Tokyo World Trade Center to be rebuilt

Tokyo's 40-storey World Trade Center Building will be rebuilt, with a new 200-metre-tall skyscraper expected to open in 2024. Kyodo News has reported that the existing 152m building, which was Japan's tallest skyscraper when it opened in 1970, will be dismantled from 2019, its operator said on Thursday. The redeveloped site will include facilities such as a medical center and a bus terminal.
