Authorities in Japan and China have agreed to double the number of daily daytime flights between Tokyo's Haneda airport and destinations in China. Citing Japan's Transport Ministry, Kyodo News reported that four flights will be added between Haneda and Shanghai, along with another four to Guangzhou. All new services will take effect from spring 2013. A further four flights are expected to be added between Haneda and Beijing from 2014. The additional flights will be split equally between Japanese and Chinese airlines, the ministry said.
