Bangkok airport plans more night flights

08/03/2012

The Thai government is expected to advise the Bangkok's airport operator to take steps to boost the number of night flights at Suvarnabhumi airport. The Bangkok Post reported that a government panel will urge Airports of Thailand (AoT) to reduce landing and parking fees from 2-5am in order to alleviate congestion during peak times. The proposal is expected to be put forward next week.
