Tokyo Skytree welcomes 10 millionth visitor
The 634-metre Tokyo Skytree has logged its 10 millionth visitor - less than two months since opening. Kyodo News reported that the world's second tallest structure reached the visitor landmark on Saturday 21 July, with an average visitor flow of more than 168,600 people per day. The Skytree operates as a broadcasting tower, but also includes a range of tourist facilities including two observation decks, an aquarium, shops and restaurants.
