Hertz moves into boat rental

Car hire company Hertz has moved into the maritime sector with the launch of 'Hertz Rent a Boat'. Launched in the Netherlands, the new boat rental service will enable customers to explore the waterways of Amsterdam using a variety of vessels, including gondolas, luxury motorboats, taxi boats and open boats, accommodating up to 35 people. Larger boats will be equipped with electricity, toilets and kitchens.
