Shanghai to build neon light museum
07/17/2012

Authorities in Shanghai are planning to build a new museum dedicated to neon lights and signage. Forming part of an exhibition hall being set up by the Shanghai Advertising Association, the museum will exhibit a range of neon lighting styles dating back to their introduction into Shanghai in the 1920s. According to the association, Shanghai's neon light market has shrunk 90% since 2006, with many companies now opting for LED lights.
