Shark sighting closes HK beaches
07/04/2012
Authorities in Hong Kong closed the city's beaches on Sunday after a shark was spotted off shore. The one-day closure of 12 of the city's most popular beaches was sparked after a swimmer reported seeing a shark. However a spokesperson for the city's Leisure & Cultural Services department told AFP that "no big fish" were found in shark nets. The beaches reopened on Monday.
