HK Disneyland expands with new themed area

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will increase in size next month with the launch of 'Grizzly Gulch' - the largest themed area in its expansion plan. Opening on 14 July 2012, the new Wild West-themed area features a new rollercoaster, 'Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars', which spreads across the entire area. Based on the concept of runaway mine cars, the new ride has a capacity of 24 people and will operate forwards and backwards. Other attractions will include 'Geyser Gulch' water play area, 'Grizzly Gulch Welcome Wagon Show', photo opportunities with Disney characters, a gift shop and F&B outlets.
