New discovery made a Terracotta Warriors site

Archeologists working at the site of the Terracotta Warriors have made a major new discovery. Xinhua reported yesterday that more than 100 soldiers and war horse were uncovered, along with two sets of chariots, and some weaponry, drums and a shield. The discovery was made at 'No. 1 Pit' of the Museum of Qin Shihuang Terracotta Warriors & Horses, in northwest China's Shaanxi province. The shield, which measures 70cm tall by 50cm wide, has caused the most excitement, as it is the fi rst ever discovered at the site.
