06/07/2012
Shanghai is offering free entry to 80 historic buildings this weekend, to mark China's Cultural Heritage Day. The Shanghai Daily reported the Shanghai Administration of Cultural Heritage as saying that sites opening on Saturday and Sunday include the 1930s headquarters of the interim Nanjing government, the city's first Catholic church, its biggest mosque, and the Guangfulin archaeological site where Shanghai's earliest known residents lived about 4,000 years ago.
