Published on Jun 6, 2012
Mobile users in Shanghai will be offered two hours of free internet in a number of city locations. The Shanghai Daily reported yesterday that the new government scheme called 'i.Shanghai' will cover 450 public venues by the end of next year, including transport hubs, parks and shopping areas. The scheme marks an expansion of the free Wi-Fi plan which has already been rolled out in the city's Lujiazui financial district.
