China is aiming to boost the profile of Chinese culture, both at home and aboard. According to a plan published by the Ministry of Culture last week, reported by Xinhua, the country is planning to set up 25-30 overseas cultural centers by 2015. The ministry also pledged measures to preserve China's cultural relics and historic sites safe. The plan also revealed that by the end of 2015, China will have 3,500 museums, 2,500 of which will be free-to-enter.
