New night market opens in Vietnam

A new night market has opened in the northwest Vietnamese city of Dien Bien Phu. The market forms part of the provincial government's aim to drive tourism and trade in the area. According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), the market will open daily from 8pm to 11.30pm and will feature more than 160 stalls selling food, clothes and souvenirs. It will run the length of the 580-metre Nguyen Chi Thanh Street.
