Snow storms in Chicago have caused the cancellation of up to 460 flights. United Airlines canceled hundreds of flights at Chicago's O’Hare and Midway airports yesterday, while those flights still operating out of O’Hare were delayed by 90 minutes on average, Bloomberg reported. Elsewhere in the country, low visibility caused hour-long delays at New York's Newark airport and Philadelphia. According to FlightAware.com, more than 840 flights were cancelled across the US yesterday due to the winter weather.
