Malaysia plans national cycle trail

Published on Dec 23, 2011

Malaysia is planning to develop a national bicycle trail, running from Johor Bahru, up the Malay Peninsula and ending in Kuala Lumpur. State news agency Bernama reported the country’s Tourism Minister, Dr Ng Yen Yen, as saying that the route will take riders through the states of Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan before heading back down to the capital. The move forms part of the Tourism Malaysia’s green tourism agenda for 2012.
