The operator of the 634-metre-tall Tokyo Sky Tree has started taking reservations, six months ahead of its planned opening. Kyodo News reported that the JPY65 billion (US$843 million) tower, which will be the world's fourth tallest structure, began accepting entrance ticket reservations on Tuesday and that more than 300 groups had already returned their application forms. For now, the tower's owner is only accepting reservations from groups of 25 or more. The tower's grand opening is planned for 22 May 2012.
