AirAsia becoming an ASEAN brand

As AirAsia pushes for regulatory approval in the Philippines and accepts delivery of its first and second aircraft in the country, the budget carrier is looking to reshape its image. Traditionally known as a Malaysian company, AirAsia is looking to switch from its “born in Malaysia” brand to “ASEAN’s airline”, as it expands across the region. “We envision by 2020, we should have an AirAsia in every [ASEAN] country.
