Tea museum to open in Tibet

A new tea museum is being developed in the Tibetan capital, Lhasa. Xinhua reported that the new CNY100 million (US$15.6 million), 2.7-hectare attraction is intended to promote Tibet’s tea culture, which dates back 1,300 years to the China’s Tang dynasty (618-907AD). It is expected to open by 2013.
