Tourism arrivals to Singapore are expected to grow through its current economic slowdown according to analysts. Despite the economic lull and the precarious economic state of Europe and the US, Singapore is forecast to hit tourism targets of 12-13 million this year because most of visitors arrive from the Asia Pacific region. In fact, Indian brokerage firm IIFL predicts the tourism sector will grow by 7.8% per annum for the next five years.
