Cross-Cultural Solutions

Cross-Cultural Solutions was founded in 1995 and is a recognized leader in the field of international volunteering. Each year, over 4,000 people volunteer abroad with CCS in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe in the areas of caregiving, teaching, healthcare, and community development.

The Trip

Spend two weeks or more in Thailand with Cross-Cultural Solutions, an international nonprofit that places more than 4,000 volunteers every year in 12 countries around the world.

Where You Go
The organization operates two programs in Thailand: one in Bangkok, where participants meet city-dwellers and experience another side of the bustling city, and the other in Trang, a peaceful province in southern Thailand that’s home to mangrove forests, white sand beaches, waterfalls and mountains.

What You Do
Both programs focus on care-giving, teaching and healthcare, with volunteers assisting in classrooms, helping out at an HIV/AIDS clinic, and spending time at homes for the elderly and children with disabilities. Volunteers also get to take part in cooking classes and massage demonstrations.
