World Gourmet Festival

September 2-8, 2019

Seven days. Sixteen chefs. Thirteen Michelin stars. Bangkok's World Gourmet Festival is back for its 20th year and their lineup of highly acclaimed chefs is one to get excited about. From France to Japan, Taiwan to Spain, the culinary extravaganza combines exclusive collab dinners with masterclasses and, our favorite, boozy brunches.

Among the star-studded chefs is local culinary hero Ian Kittichai, whose participation in the 20th-anniversary event brings him full circle, since he was a member of the hotel’s culinary team who led the visiting international chefs during the inaugural World Gourmet Festival in the year 2000. Chef Wolfgang Becker of Germany's Michelin two-starred Becker is also on the roster, along with chef Kai Ho of Taiwan's innovative Taïrroir restaurant. There's also award-winning pastry chef Roger Van Damme from the Netherlands, chef brothers Hajime and So Otowa of Tokyo's Ciel et Sol, and master chef Alan Geaam.

The events understandably book out quickly, so buy your tickets at the soonest so you dont miss out on things like masterclasses with four of Japan's top chefs or a six-hand dinner by chef Kai Ho, Richie Lin, and Ian Kittichai.
