The Overview

Definitely a weekend destination as the club generally fails to fill up during the week, nevertheless it was pretty much the first local venue to break the dullard’s mold of mainstream hip-hop and rock. Its décor doesn’t compete with the design finesse of SOUND, but it has a quality sound system and the crowd is here for one thing: dancing. Residents play electro, breakbeats and techno, with occasional guest sets from touring DJ’s. The crowd is genuinely friendly and there’s little posturing. At the end of the day, or night, it’s all about the music.
