This studio and boutique has been crafting hand-woven textiles, clothing and accessories ever since it was founded in 1985. The company was established on a fair trade basis with the aim of helping local weavers access the international market. Patricia Cheesman, a local art academic, is a key figure behind the firm and also helped found Weavers For the Environment for which Studio Naenna is the only outlet. While there are some contemporary offerings, most of the apparel is fairly traditional but reasonably minimalist. The range of naturally died eco-textiles includes upholstery, dresses, shirts, hand-woven ties and wall hangings.
