The Overview

This bar at the Shangri-La Chiang Mai, located south of the city’s night market, apparently takes its name from Whiskey and Wine, and offers a relaxed environment to enjoy a staggering range of cocktails and wines. This is one of Chiang Mai’s more sophisticated bars, but it still avoids being too showy and you can opt to sit in the elegantly designed interior or step out onto the al fresco terrace and soak up the starlight and views of Doi Suthep. Oddly enough, WoW is one of the few venues in the city that chooses classic Italian songs for its musical backdrop.
