The Overview

Fusion is still going strong in the City of Angels, though it usually comes in the form of European dishes that have been spiced up to suit Thai tastes (spaghetti with chili flakes is virtually a staple). This new eatery from the team behind Bed Supperclub and AHA in Siem Reap takes a different tack and reinvents Thai classics with haute ingredients. Yellow curry with crab is loaded with Alaskan king crab, while roast duck and quail eggs grace the wing bean salad. And the Wagyu beef is meltingly tender and served with a bracing jim jaew, a spicy Isaan dip, and crispy, fat onion rings.

As its name suggests, a communal teakwood table stretches across the dining room, flanked by sala-like, white-leather booths. Revelers can sip their cocktails on low-lying, black leather chairs out on the enormous patio and drink in the bird’s eye views of Bangkok.
