Given that the head chef hails from Lyon, it's no surprise that the fare airs on the rich side, with indulgent favorites like crepes suzette and beef tenderloin doused in béarnaise sauce well represented. Nonetheless, the chefs have made some concessions to the modern palate, tossing in bright, acidic flavors from Provence, as well as plenty of seafood. An impressive wine selection complements the cuisine. It's part of the Asiatique, a riverside bazaar with a Ferris wheel, a breezy promenade and special shows. It's definitely worth a night out, and there are free shuttle boats from the pier near the Saphan Taksin BTS station.
