The Overview

Le Méridien Taipei, the hotel group’s first Taiwan property, stands out from Xinyi district’s crowd of business hotels with its arts-oriented approach. More than 500 artworks are scattered throughout the hotel, and key cards designed by Taiwanese artist Michael Lin open the doors of the 160 guestrooms as well as the Taipei Museum of Contemporary Art. Despite a focus on style and design, room aren’t short on creature comforts: each has a Nepresso machine and an ultra-comfy Le Méridien bed, while the marble bathrooms come with sweet-smelling L’Occitane products.
