Glimpse history at Merdeka Square

Amidst the jungle of glistening skyscrapers and ultra-modern shopping malls, take some time out to visit the historical and colonial attractions of Merdeka (Independence) Square where the last vestiges of British colonial rule remain for all to explore. The sparkling venue is home to several historically poignant buildings including the Tudor-style Royal Selangor Club and the Moorish Sultan Abdul Samad Building which housed several important departments of the British colonial administration.
