The Overview

Posted on November 28, 2014

Opened in May 2012, Palace Hotel Tokyo still channels the city's last half a century of history and culture. Many of the hotel's 278 rooms and 12 suites offer impressive views of the nearby Imperial Palace gardens. Meanwhile, the 1,200-square-meter evian Spa Tokyo draws inspiration from the Alps and the source of this famed aquatic brand. Dining options range from austere kaiseki dishes at Wadakura to very fine French at Crown. It's also hard to go wrong with sushi from Michelin-starred chef Shinji Kanesaka at his namesake restaurant or the tempura at Tatsumi, a six-seat bar serving Tsukiji Market's finest with sake pairings.
