Stone steps draw you up to the foyer and expectations rise as you climb the stairway. Staff dressed in crisp black shirts reminiscent more of an elegant European café than an Asian paradise greet you at the top.

The scale of the scene that greets you is cinematic - in wide-screen, you take in the sweeping panorama. In the foreground, a large and luxurious lounge area surrounded by diners at crisp white-clothed tables on three sides of a U-shaped pavilion that is both elegant and edgy in its architectural detail.
