Grand Hyatt Steakhouse

At the Grand Hyatt Steakhouse, buttery, richly marbled slabs of prime beef from the U.S., U.K. and Japan share table space with exceptional seafood.

The Overview

There’s a decidedly masculine swagger to this beloved local institution decked out in dark wood and warm leather. All of the staples you might expect, from a decadent mac n’ cheese and triple-fried duck fat French fries, are in fine form. Beef is, of course, the main attraction here and hails from top producers in Japan, the U.S. and the U.K. Richly marbled cuts come in portions and prices that would make even the city’s bankers blush. Exceptional as the steaks themselves are, the seafood selection, which includes Canadian lobsters, oysters, colossal king crab legs and other oceanic treasures, is not to be missed.
