The Overview
American hotelier Martin Dishman is credited with introducing the one-room hotel concept to Siem Reap with The One Hotel Angkor. He’s now expanded with the three rooms Hotel Be. Right next door to The One, property is located in a three-story shophouse. Guest rooms, which average 37 square meters, take up the second and third floors; two of the rooms include private rooftop terraces. Each guest room also showcases a different local artist. Check out the Bamboo Room with its beguiling sculptures out of rattan and bamboo.
The personality of each room shows through in individualized furnishings, works of art, and architectural flourishes that ensure each stay is unique and a far cry from the generic boxes and hallways of clones in the average hotel. Here you find welcoming spaces, lovingly created art and furnishings that were picked by hand or sketched out on paper and imagined in detail so that they bring out exactly the right emotion and impression for that corner of the room. With only three rooms, you can take pleasure in a level of personalized service impossible in a larger property.
Located in “The Passage”, a small charming lane that is the most happening corner of Siem Reap with neighbors including the newly opened AHA restaurant and wine bar, The One Hotel, Linga Bar, and McDermott Gallery.
